The director of "Skyfall" was recently interviewed by Yahoo Movies where he commented on turning down "Bond 24".
"Was I willing to go back into a room with a writer and start work on the same set of characters and the same scenarios as I've been working on for the last three years? The idea made me physically ill," Mendes said. Of the death of Dame Judi Dench's "M", Mendes is convinced it was the right decision: "You can't kill him; let's kill her instead! I thought I was going to get so much shit for that. But you know you shock people into rediscovering their first acquaintance with the characters…" Richard Kiel, the actor who played the iconic Jaws in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME and MOONRAKER is set to visit the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu on Sunday 26th May.
Beaulieu’s Bond In Motion exhibition is the largest official collection of original James Bond vehicles in the world, and Richard will be there between 10.30am and 4pm, accompanied by Blanche Ravalec, who played his partner Dolly in MOONRAKER.
