9 vehicles that were going to be used in the 24th James Bond movie SPECTRE have been reported stolen. The cars were said to include five Range Rover Sport models that were being modified in Neuss, Dusseldorf. They were almost ready to be shipped to the Austrian Alps for the Obertilliach shoot in January.
The current whereabouts of the vehicles is unknown and it is yet unclear if it will affect the shooting schedule.
"Car thefts are unfortunately an industry-wide problem, since European legislation requires that automakers must make the vehicle data of its diagnostic system available. This is addressed by Jaguar Land Rover to the appropriate authorities to introduce changes"
